Call for Abstracts and Discussants

Working group 2 (“Norms for public argument”) of the European Network for Argumentation and Public Policy Analysis (COST Action CA17132 – APPLY; https://publicpolicyargument.eu/) is pleased to invite submissions of abstracts (from any field) addressing the theme of this meeting, as well as self-nominations to join this meeting as a discussant.

Format
Presentations last 20 mins plus 15 minutes for discussion. The meeting includes a keynote address, presentation of a draft of WG-2’s major deliverable (an overview of norms for public argumentation), small group sessions to finalize this draft, as well as a networking session to meet new potential co-authors. 


We expect to invite four abstracts for presentation and hope to be some 20-30 participants at this meeting. Authors of abstracts that cannot be accepted are automatically considered as potential discussants. Invitations are extended based on aggregated votes by the local organizers and the working group leaders. There are no fees.
