Training School on Argument Mapping took place at Nova University in Lisbon from March 15th until March 18th 2019 and it immediately preceded Networks kick off conference. It was organised as a mix of lecturing, group discussion, exercises, and self-study, with the intent to improve participant’s ability to analyse, evaluate, and produce natural language arguments, assisted by the online argument-mapping tool Rationale.
Trainer was Dr. phil. habil. Frank Zenker and 26 participants were PhD students, early carrier researches, educators and stakeholders’ representatives from COST countries. Judging by the participant`s feedback, training school on Argument Mapping was successful and useful in further research of PhD students but also applicable in practice of educators and policy makers.
