Migrants in transition

Interviews to migrant women with children all living in the greater London area. The interviews were done in 2010 and 2011 with the aim to study transition processes and inner dialogue (inner decision-making) through a lens of argumentation. This corpus has been the basis for different studies on inner argumentation. It also offers a perspective on international migration seen from the viewpoint of individual migrants. The corpus has been collected within the project “Migrants in transition: An argumentative perspective, financed by the Swiss National Science Foundation, Grant: PBTIP1-133595).
